10 Questions to Ask Before You Hire (Home Edition)

$45.00

Thinking about hiring someone to work on your home?

This class is for the part before things get real — before you hand over a check, say yes to a start date, or trust someone just because they came recommended.

I’ve hired, fired, and managed subcontractors, budgets, and job sites for over 12 years. These are my top 10 questions — the ones I ask before I bring someone into a project, and the ones I wish every homeowner asked.

We’re going to talk. I’m going to walk you through what to look for, what to ask, and what I’ve seen go sideways when people skip this part.

👉 What You’ll Leave With

✔ More confidence when hiring for home improvement

✔ A clearer picture of what to ask (even if you don’t know where to start)

✔ The small red flags that often turn into big problems

✔ How to tell if a recommendation is real—or just part of someone’s buddy system

✔ A better way to slow things down, do a little research, and trust your gut before you say yes

Note: This is a small group class, and seats are limited. If this session fills up, I’ll open a waitlist for the next one.

This isn’t a how-to-build class. It’s a class that helps you avoid regret.

Cancellations & No-Shows

I know life happens. If you need to cancel, please reach out at least 48 hours before the class for a full refund.

Please understand — these are small group classes, and every seat counts. Last-minute cancellations can really impact the group and how the class runs.

If it’s within 48 hours, the class fee will be held as credit toward a future class. You’ll get first dibs when the next one opens up.

No-shows without notice aren’t eligible for refund or credit.
